Federal & State Government Programs

There are a number of Government programs that offer financial incentives to homeowners seeking insulation installation. Many of these programs require at least one EEC Certified Insulation Installer per work site.

Federal Programs

Household Energy Upgrades Fund (HEUF) which offer low interest loans on upgrades which includes insulation.

Social Housing Energy Performance Initiative (SHEPI) which will help fund thermal upgrades with ceiling insulation to social housing in collaboration with State Governments.

State Programs

ACT – Sustainable Household Scheme administered by Brighte offering zero interest loans for select items including insulation. Expires in 2026

TAS – Energy Saver Loan Scheme administered by Brighte offering zero interest loans for select items including insulation.
